Birthday Cake Batter Ice-cream

This birthday cake batter ice cream recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a sweet treat durring the summer time. It’s irresistibly delicious and ideal for those who want to make something special without a lot of effort! The recipe takes about 45 minutes (not including freezing the ice cream bowl) to prepare and is sure to be a hit. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  •  1 cup whole milk (well chilled)
  •  3/4 cup granuated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream(well chilled)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup cake mix

Directions:

  1.  Place the freezer bowl of the ice cream maker in the freezer, leave it in for at least 8 hours prior to making the cream. For convenience, it’s best to keep it in there at all times so it’s always ready to use.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk and granulated sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add the heavy cream and vanilla, stirring until fully combined.
  4. Mix in the cake mix, ensuring there are no lumps.
  5. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl and churn until it thickens (approximately 25-30 minutes).
  6. Once thickened, transfer the ice cream to a separate container.
  7. Return the ice cream to the freezer to firm up further ( I suggest 2-3 hours, but this is totally up to you).
  8.  Take it out of the freezer, and enjoy!
