Cookies ‘n Creme Ice-cream
Get ready for the ultimate treat—creamy, dreamy cookies and cream ice cream you can make right at home! This recipe is super simple and delivers that classic cookies-and-cream flavor everyone loves, with rich vanilla swirls and plenty of chocolate cookie chunks in every bite. It’s a total crowd-pleaser and perfect for cooling down on a warm day. Total time is about 1 hour ( not including freezing the ice cream bowl), and it makes around 6 servings. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 15-20 oreo sandwich cookies(chopped or smashed)

Directions:
- Place the freezer bowl of the ice cream maker in the freezer, leave it in for at least 8 hours prior to making the cream. For convenience, it’s best to keep it in there at all times so it’s always ready to use.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk and granulated sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add the heavy cream and vanilla, stirring until fully combined.
- Mix in the chopped oreo cookies.
- Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl and churn until it thickens (approximately 25-30 minutes).
- Once thickened, transfer the ice cream to a separate container.
- Return the ice cream to the freezer to firm up further ( I suggest 2-3 hours, but this is totally up to you).
- Take it out of the freezer, and enjoy!
